Counselling can be extremely transformative, and I feel passionate about facilitating this transformation for others. My experience of working in a low-cost counselling agency and in a prestigious residential rehab means I have worked with a wide range of people, which has shown me that everyone is unique. I come with dedication, integrity, and a sense of humour and ease.
Some of the areas I work in are:
- Addiction
- Anger issues
- Anxiety
- Burnout
- Depression
- Guilt
- History of abuse
- LGBTQ+ issues
- Men’s issues
- Relationships
- Self-esteem
- Shame
- Trauma

About You
You may have been wanting to make change for a while now, but have found yourself unable to do so. You might feel unsatisfied with certain areas in your life or don’t understand why you keep getting stuck in the same situations. Maybe you’re looking at the people in your life and wonder why you feel so different from them. Perhaps you’ve been thinking of getting into counselling, but find it difficult to reach out. Whatever you’re going through, therapy can provide you with a space to process your confusion and help you move forward.
During the free consultation, you’ll get a sense of who I am and how I work. Please look at other therapists’ profiles as well, as it’s essential that you feel comfortable when talking to someone.
About Us
Once you’ve decided you’d like to work with me, we’ll book in a slot that suits you. One of my main aims is to establish trust and safety early-on because, let’s face it, you’ll only be willing to go where you need to go if you feel safe enough in our relationship. This partly ensures our work together is trauma-informed. We’ll reflect on common themes and patterns, and share our views on how your past might have influenced your present, and what you can do to make lasting changes for the future. If talking about the past feels Too Big, don’t worry, working with addiction has taught me how to work in the Here and Now, also.
